I’d never really celebrated Easter in a big way before, but last year during lockdown we went all out and I loved celebrating the start of Spring with a lovely long weekend full of easter treats and egg hunts. It’s definitely something we will be repeating again this year!
Alongside the more traditional gifting of Easter eggs, in recent years we’ve seen the rise of small gifts or gift baskets being created to keep little ones busy over the bank holiday weekend.
We’ve put together just a few ideas from some of our favourite businesses to share with you, and we hope you love what they have to offer as much as we do.
From Organised Chaos with Kids
We couldn't not give our newest products a mention! Although our large spring themed play kits have now sold out, our new Spring collection includes lots of other gorgeous products that would all make gorgeous additions to any Easter basket - and might even buy you a few minutes of peace and quiet to enjoy a hot cuppa. We have 4 themed mini-kits, 2 different play dough cutter sets and a new pack of play mats too. Or, for something extra special, how about our Make Your Own Chocolate Dough Kit?
The basket
It wouldn't be an Easter basket without a basket would it? Olli Ella's collection of baskets is simply stunning. The only difficulty is choosing just one!
Easter cards
Send a little love this Easter with a card from Festive Fingerprints’ Easter collection. They’re super cute and a fun family activity too.
Baking kits
Get everyone involved in a Bank Holiday baking session with a kit from Craft and Crumb. They have a few Easter products on sale now, but I'm seriously tempted by the rainbow cupcakes too.
For the Easter cake
BowBeaus are known for their adorable, fancy animals and their party hat or flower crowned-adored deer, bunnies or sheep would make the perfect topper to your Easter cake.
Easter crayons
Crayon Box make gorgeous, brightly coloured crayons and have recently launched their Easter collection. Choose from bunnies, Easter eggs or a whole collection of Easter character-shaped crayons!
Get crafty
Cotton Twist have an adorable Easter range, I love the garden kit and the chick with the pompom tummy is so sweet! They offer everything from peg doll kits to egg decorating packs and are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
For even the smallest members of the family
Grimm's pastel wooden balls come in an egg box and would make a gorgeous gift for a younger child. To be fair, anything from the Grimm's pastel collection would go down well with most kids. I'm just looking for an excuse to buy that rainbow! You can buy Grimm's from several gorgeous small businesses but Conscious Craft are a firm favourite here.
We’d love to hear about your suggestions and favourite businesses with special Easter products available too!
