How long does the sensory dough last?
icon for dropdown menu

Our sensory dough should last for between 3-6 months if stored in a cool, dark place in the airtight tin provided and handled regularly. The formation of salt crystals on the surface is completely normal, just give the dough a good knead and they will disappear again. Likewise, if your dough starts to dry out from age, or if it has been left out, kneading it well with a bit of oil should help to restore it again. Please note that there are no artificial preservatives in our play dough and it is made from natural ingredients. This means that the play dough can go off so please be sure to handle it regularly and be careful about keeping it cool when it's not in use.

What Is the sensory dough made from?

Our sensory dough is lovingly handmade using wheat flour, cream of tartar, salt, vegetable oil and water. Food colourings and flavourings are mostly used to colour and scent the play dough although in some cases natural dyes and scents, such as cocoa, coffee and herbs are used. If you have any allergies, please contact us using the form on the homepage.
